What gets a trade the job. It is not the logo.

Someone with a leaking pipe or a kitchen to fit is not browsing. They want to know four things, quickly, and they will call whoever answers them first.

Do you cover my area?

Your area stated plainly at the top of every page, with the towns and postcodes you cover. Nobody wants to fill in a form only to be told you do not go that far.

Have you done this before?

Photos of real jobs, before and after, sorted by type of work. A gallery is the closest thing to a portfolio a trade has, so it needs to load fast and look sharp on a phone.

Can I trust you?

Your accreditations, insurance and guarantees, shown properly and linked to the scheme's own register so a customer can check them in seconds.

How do I get a price?

A quote form that takes thirty seconds, with photos from the phone. Or a big call button, because some people would rather talk.

From quote request to job card.

The customer sends the job with photos. You get a job card with everything you need to price it, before you call back. No back-and-forth asking them to text a picture.

Showing up locally. Done properly.

Most trade work comes from searches with a place in them: plumber Durham, electrician near me. Two things decide whether you show up: your Google Business Profile and your website. We set up both to work together.

  • Google Business Profile, set up right

Category, service area, hours, services and photos completed and linked to your site. Most profiles we see are half finished.

    Service-area business · categories · photos

  • LocalBusiness schema

Structured data that tells Google your trade, your area and your contact details in a form it can read without guessing.

    schema.org · areaServed · openingHours

  • Pages for the work you want

A page each for the jobs you want more of, so a search for "boiler installation" lands on boilers, not your home page.

One service, one page · one next step

  • Area pages done honestly

One strong areas-covered page, plus town pages only where you have real jobs to show. No copy-and-paste doorway pages.

    Google spam policies respected

  • Reviews, the right way

A link that takes happy customers straight to your Google review form. We never buy, invent or seed reviews.

Review link · QR code for the van

  • Fast on a building site

Server-rendered pages that load on one bar of signal, because that is where your customers often are.

    LCP < 2.5s on 4G · INP < 200ms

Sample gallery · drawn, not real jobs

Galleries that load fast on site.

A phone photo is 3 to 5 MB. Put twenty on a page and it takes a minute to load on 4G. Ours are resized for each screen and served as AVIF or WebP, often a twentieth of the size, with no visible loss.

  • Upload straight from your phone after the job
  • Resized and compressed for you, automatically
  • Lazy-loaded, so the page opens before the photos below it
  • Before and after pairs, sorted by type of job

Your accreditations, shown properly.

Gas Safe, NICEIC, NAPIT, TrustMark, Which? Trusted Traders, the Federation of Master Builders: whatever you hold, it should be easy to see and easy to check.

Shown where it counts

Next to the quote button and on each service page, not buried in the footer. A Gas Safe number beside a boiler quote is worth more than any slogan.

Linked to the register

Each badge links to your entry on the scheme's own register, so a customer can check you in seconds. It is the strongest proof you have, and it costs nothing.

Only what you really hold

We use your own scheme logos under each scheme's rules, and only the ones you are a current member of. We never add badges you have not earned.

Fitting this into an older site? A website redesign that keeps your rankings moves your existing pages across without losing the Google traffic they already get.

From quote request to invoice, in one place.

Busy trades outgrow a contact form. When quotes, jobs and invoices live in a notebook, a WhatsApp group and a spreadsheet, the same foundations take the next step.

  1. Quote requests with photosYou start here

Your work, your area and a thirty-second quote form, landing on your phone as a job card.

  2. Job tracking, quote to invoice

Accepted quotes become jobs with dates, materials and photos, then invoices, without retyping a thing.

  3. Invoices into Xero

Finished jobs go to your accounts as invoices, and paid ones are marked off on their own.

How much does a website for a tradesman cost?

Our websites for trades start from £450, fixed and written down before you commit. That covers the design, the build, the quote form with photo upload, your gallery and your Google Business Profile linked. Care plans start at £95 a month.

I get most of my work from word of mouth. Do I need a website?

Word of mouth usually ends in a search. Someone hears your name, looks you up, and judges you on what they find. A fast site with your photos, your area and your accreditations turns that recommendation into a call instead of a shrug.

Will it get me on the first page of Google?

Nobody honest can promise that. For local searches, your Google Business Profile matters as much as your website. We set both up properly, link them, add LocalBusiness schema and build pages for the work you want more of. Your reviews and your reputation do the rest.

Can customers send photos of the job?

Yes. The quote form takes photos straight from the phone's camera or gallery. They are resized on upload, so they arrive quickly even on a weak signal, and they land in your inbox with the request.

Can I add my own photos of finished jobs?

Yes, from your phone, in a couple of minutes. Upload, add a line about the job and the town, and press publish. The site resizes and compresses them for you.

Should I have a page for every town I cover?

Only where you have real work to show there. Near-identical town pages are treated as spam by Google. We would rather build one strong areas-covered page and add a town page when you have jobs, photos and something true to say about it.

How quickly can I have it?

Most websites for trades take 1–2 weeks from go-ahead. The free website plan, with your homepage design and fixed quote, takes five working days.
